Between Viking King Harald Hardrada and the English King Harold.
The battle of Stamford Bridge was a victory for the the English King but
it is inextricably linked to his defeat at the Battle of Hastings which
took place no less than 3 weeks later.

Marson Moor is believed to have been the largest battle to be fought on
English soil. Between the Royalists and the Parliamentarians.
The battle was a Parlimentarian victory.
